AAASM Black History Research Project This project is designed for children to take an active role in discovering the accomplishments and struggles of our African and African American ancestors. It is important for us as a culture to study and truly understand our past so that we have strength to make the necessary changes for our future. We study our rich and majestic past as Africans to our troubled yet triumphant past as African Americans. For Black America, our children need to be educated on where they came from so that they may re-educate themselves on where they should be going. The AAASM takes charge in bringing Black Pride back to Black Americans. There is more to you than basketball, singing and dancing; that just the fun part of you! We are Doctors, we are Lawyers , we are Business Owners....we are Leaders! Here is just a small list of those individuals and organizations we will study............
